Ever since the second track on their debut album, I have been in love with UNKLE. I mean ‘Rabbit In Your Headlights’ is just magic, which is to be expected with the vocals of the one and only Thom Yorke. Yep, James Lavelle has been close to my iTunes heart for a while. Last years ‘War Stories’ was such an unexpected and punchy angle and sound. Definately in my top………….maybe….8 albums of last year. Now, perhaps due to creative overload at the time of recording, Lavelle has decided to release ‘More Stories’, which is pretty much War Stories sessions. It starts off rather standard but works its way through, track by track, to an amazing build up of at least four fantastic songs. With the song below, ‘A Wash Of Black’, it was one of those rare cases when you throw a new song on your iPod and it just strikes a big chord with you. Indeed. Listen then seriously go buy this sucker when its properly released.
