My beloved Sydney electro duo Calling in Sick have brought out the goods, once again. Ever since I was told there was a ‘Fun Punch’ remix in the works a little while ago my little heart jumped. You all should remember the original, made by the infamous Bag Raiders; without doubt it was one of the biggest tunes of 2007. A few remixes have been churned out (I’m talking about ZZZ and Bag Raider’s own remix in particular) but the Calling in Sick boys managed to cope with the pressure and bring out their own version, and it doesn’t disappoint. Everything is still there but better. With that funky bass line to the soaring guitar solo, oh man.. just bliss. Very melodic and powerful. Props to the boys.
