“Not content with smashing festival stages to smithereens, the Midnight Juggernuats have lined up a brand new EP for release, with an imposing list of musical artists putting the remix touch to their now cult classic ‘Into The Galaxy’. The EP will be available in Australia through iTunes in August, and it features remixes from the aforementioned Grandmaster Flash, Metronomy, Danger, Architecture in Helsinki, Chateau Mar”
And as well as remixing the Juggers, Metronomy have also just released thier second album ‘Nights Out’ with 3 singles released already and a fourth soon to follow this could be a very big year for the group.
FATBOY SLIM (The BPA)-THE BPA- TOE JAM FT. DAVID BYRNE & DIZZEE RASCAL
Everybody’s friend FATBOYSLIM has been hard at work again (as one of his alias’s: The BPA a.k.a The Brighton Port Authority) this time collaborating with the huge musical talent of DAVID BYRNE (TALKING HEADS) and DIZZEE RASCAL in his brand new song: THE BPA- TOE JAM . The song is a catchy little number with both Byrnes and Rascals unique vocals suiting the style very well, but the clever video clip almost out-stages such a unique and interesting collaboration. Decide for yourselves…
Recently Ive been getting so much new music from around the place, that Ive barely had a chance to give it all a decent listen. So its always refreshing when a band can capture you in that small amount of time. New World Disorder by UK band Aspen Woods is one of those albums you know is going to be on high rotation as soon as you listen to it. If your a fan of any sort of dreamy, indie shoegaze, something in the vain of Ride, Slowdive or even early BRMC you will enjoy this. The tracks usually sit at around 8 minutes each, but never drone on and are consistently impressive.
The newest release from a band that was born from a million hits of acid and soaked in vocoder and mellowtron. Im am completely in love with Black Moth Super Rainbow at the moment. This has cemented that fact.
