With the upcoming Parklife festival almost upon us (Australia Only feat. headliners 2ManyDJ’s and Soulwax plus many more!) and everyone absolutely aching for a perfect quality of the much hyped MGMT- Kids (Soulwax Remix) to be released (or pop up somewhere in blog land…) the majoirty of the music world is literally creaming their pants once again for the 2 Many DJ’s. But really, did anyone ever stop creaming them?
So to tide everyone over until they get to see these legendary brothers in action (or at least dream about it) heres a mix that has been floating around on the internet since last week (much love to ‘Bobby Digs It All’ for his post on lowbee) from their latest set (24-08-2008) recorded live at Cream Fields Festival in the UK on BBC Radio 1. With Park Life just around the corner, all i can say is that if their set at Park Life is anything like their one at Cream Fields last week, i will not be the only one Creaming my pants….

I reckon theyll be awesome. i think its just that everyones expecting them to be super dancey but they were never meant to be that kind of band. I hope they arent just plain shit though cos Ill be seeing them twice in three days…

people that say MGMT suck live have their anuses wound up too tight and need to rectify the situation as soon as possible. yes. i do not wish to be held accountable for my comments, but van morrison and the rolling stones would be pleased with MGMT’s covers of their songs. good vibrations were had by all! the night is still young and the fair young maidens of my city call out!!!!!!!1
