
A guilty guilty pleasure, “Where Were U in ‘92?” is the title track from an album of incredibly cheesy old-school rave that sounds like it’s circa 92 but is in fact the debut LP from Zomby on Werk Discs.
It’s more of a side-project than a proper debut as Zomby’s regular output is more chip-heavy and a far cry from the hedonistic 90s throwback that is “Where Were U in ‘92?”

This is not a throwback release but it may as well be for all the fist-pumping, drug-sweat, tacky rave-euphoria it evokes. I can’t take Jokers Of The Scene seriously as artists but they do have some real good/badness going on.



















That Zomby track really is such a guilty pleasure, complete with the big football sirens, key controlled vocals, and uplifting chords. So 90’s.
