Brooklyn drum-and-drone band Dinowalrus have started stirring again, with news of a new 7″ about to be pressed and launched out into the world. These guys sound like nothing much else out there. The new release is limited to a run of 200, and is available at Kim’s, Other Music, Academy, EAT, passout, and Earwax. Also, its being distributed online at www.igetrvng.com.
The boys are having a release show this Saturday at death by audio with A Fiasco and Smarts and a host of other bands…its also a benefit for DBA.
In other news, they will be releasing a split 7″ with Melbourne band Bachelor Of Arts on EXO (The Emergency, Apache Beat, Japanther) in March, and playing two release shows with them in NYC on march 7 at Dead Herring w/ Real Estate, the FORMS and boogie boarder; and cake shop on march 8 with Mixel Pixel and a secret guest (Apache Beat! billed as Motorik).
