I’m one of those idiot friends you have who always seems to have some kind of drama going on. Although it makes for entertaining conversation when you get the question, ‘so, what have you been up to lately?’ (which is usually the first sign that the conversation has ended before it has began) But in reality its actually quite fucking depressing. You tell yourself, ‘ no! I’m living life! I’m doing stuff and being in the NOW ‘ … put that self help book down, its a bunch of wank.
When I’m in moods like this i usually like listening to ambient, Lo-Fi, droning music but with hints of satanism. Women In Love is in it very early stages but shows great promise in originality of sound. Audio samples from movies and television, introductions with slow but heavy beats and distortion that melts your ears, is just my cup of tea. If you like the fuck buttons and hilarity, you might be a fan.
