About 10 other blogs have already posted this news and Pitchfork has already done a feature article… i don’t care. I’ve never been so excited about a band combination before! Not like this. I love the rawness of The White Stripes and without sounding pretentious, i really do prefer their older stuff eg. black math, hand springs and red death at 6.14.
I can say the same for The Kills, the sexiness and raw power of Alison Mosshart, fuck, its just a dream. So when i read the text message this arvo, ‘fuck fuck fuck! VV and Jack white are starting a new band omgomgomg…’ It was like i just saw two of my ex-girlfriends making out in the street, apprehensive but turned on at the same time.
