I’ve always had a very soft spot in my heart for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club’s First album, B.R.M.C, and have been waiting for something to come along to hit the same key as that. The new album ‘Devotion Implosion’ by LA three piece Gliss is the closest I have found. Its a misleading band name, but fuck this album is really doing good good things for me. Its a mix of indie jangle, out there psychedelia and late night shoegaze melodies, and it really flows effortlessly. Highly recommended.
