CONTROVERSY #2: DJ KAOS & KNIGHTLIFE

After a launch of launch of epic proportions, Controversy is back next week with a bigger badder line up. DJ KAOS (Rong/DFA) will be playing his only Melbourne show with local show stopper KNIGHTLIFE providing support.

DJ Kaos and Cutters flagship artist KNIGHTLIFE will be releasing savage beasts in the mainroom along side the Controversy resident line up – Chestwig, Otologic, Lewie Day and Luke Brown. The infamous ‘parlor room party’ will be in full swing with Jean Pierre, Superhandz v Francis Chang, Ronzel v Wolfgang, Waves at Night Djs, Flirt Cub Djs and Campfire.

DJ Kaos is an integral part of the Berlin underground scene, producing a variety of twisted dance music for a number of years now. He’s performed all over the Globe, from Europe, Japan to the US. He has released original music on such seminal dance labels as Eskimo, Kitsune, Playhouse, as well as Rong Music and DFA. His remixes have proven in demand, remixing everyone from !!! to Roxy Music to the New Young Pony Club.
My favourite is Italians’ Do It Better wondermites Tiedye’s magic touch to Kaos’ “Love the Nite Away” – purrs at me everytime I hear it.

Knightlife has just releases his second EP masterpiece titled “II” out on hip label Cutters which is a little moster and a half. You may all remember me posting the demo of “Crusader” a while ago (in 2007 ha!!!) but here is the real deal and I must say, I truely love cowbells!
