A belated post to honour the late great director John Hughes who past away last week. He was responsible for creating some of the most iconic teen flicks of the eighties. I paid tribute to him this weekend by digging up a classic record from the ‘Ferris Bueller’ soundtrack, the instantly recognisable theme song, ‘Oh Yeah’ by Yello. Just as interesting and equally quirky was the group’s first release Bostich – equipped with rolling arpeggiator and bizarre lyrics – it’s a definite mind fuck!
MP3: YELLO – OH YEAH
MP3: YELLO – OH YEAH ‘OH SIX (BOOKA SHADE REMIX)
MP3: YELLO – BOSTICH
In amongst all the video music show tributes I discovered the clip for ‘Oh Yeah’ – I’m still slightly disturbed from it and wonder; if played backwards, would it contain a message from the afterlife?!
Decide for yourselves….

of course it would contain a message, since the hyperdimensional continuum is constantly under flux by the energies that we eminate from our pineal gland, which is why we are all bound to one wonderful field of energy- love.
Well spoken – seems so obvious now – the hyperdimensional continuum was buried beneath their stylish flavour savers!!
RIP.
