When I first heard the new Atlas Sound track ‘Walkabout’ with Panda Bear’s vocals over the top, I knew the album was going to be something special. After picking up the whole thing, I can confirm for you: yes, it really is. Bradford Cox can do know wrong now that he has a bit more experience, and alot more self confidence.

New Pains EP dropped recently too. Their debut long player is still on heavy rotation at home and work. I cant get enough of that breezy, effortless noise-pop. Never too serious, never pretentious, full of feel-good vibes.

Also, anyone who wants to mix a bit of one of my all time favorite bands into their set, Ive just picked up an edit for just that. Now I just need a decent one for ‘Bigmouth Strikes Again’. By the way, anything ‘Allez Allez’ is bound to be awesome.

Washed Out are creeping all over the blogosphere (god I hate that word). I guess the whole dream-wave/balearic thing is really sinking in hard with amazing, amazing bands like Studio, Neon Indian and Memory Tapes bringing out some fantastic tunes of late.

the david starfire remix of bigmouth strikes again is pretty decent
It seems to me that “Get Up” is just some kind of tiny edit, or else a plagiarism of “Change – Got To Get Up”. Are they affiliated or Something?
