MP3: Echo And The Bunnymen – Rescue

Washed Out Im not even going to bother giving you the lowdown on. All I will say is make 100% sure that you get BOTH the ALBUM and the EP. Because, and I give you the Waves At Night promise, you will NOT be able to stop listening to them. Amazing dreamy chill-wave/dream-wave/whatever the fuck else-wave.

MP3: Washed Out – Olivia

This track you may recognise from the LCD Soundsystem (James Murphy/Pat Mahoney) Fabric mix of a few years ago. Thick with groove and laden but sexy disco-funk.

MP3: Theo Parrish – This is You, This Is Me (Ugly Edits 8 b1)

  1. I was just experiencing a minor nostalgia attack for Echo & The Bunnymen that had me going so far as to investigate Ian McCulloch’s “Candyland” album. (With the bassist from… Gentle Giant???) I have to admit that I even like one of the songs from the new album, even if it has that Coldplay-production albatross hanging around its neck.

I’ve been lurking around for the past couple of months and I have to say I really like your blog! Glad to see you’re back to updating!

I’ve been digging the Washed Out EP, but I didn’t realize they have an album out?! Can you hook me up with some more info, I can’t find anything about it.

    Thanks!
