WAVES AT NIGHT

A DEAD FOREST INDEX

Brothers Sam and Adam Sherry form haunting, dischordal, subterranean two piece A Dead Forest Index. Their songs are pulled from another time, from fragments of dreams, drawn shadows and long travels. The drums are moving, changing shape, underpinning the delayed formless, percussive guitar. Vocals echo above and overlap creating a powerful and original sound.

They perform Wednesday nights in November at The Workers Club supported by an array of unique and interesting artists.

Beautiful. What a great way to spend the last hour of my evening. The front vocals of Sleep From Eyes (my favourite!) reminds me of Elliot Smith, or some angry teenager from the 90’s listening to Elliot Smith (which I don’t mean in a condescending way)

These songs are so moving, I was lucky enough to spend some time in the studio when A Dead Forest Index recorded them. The whole album is so magical.
