Negativ Magick (Luke Brown and Thomas Henderson) have been taking the party in Melbourne back down to the depths of mean early 80’s dark synth goth-beat. The sort of shit that when the lights start strobing, and people around you start blurring and the beat is pounding, you actually start to get scared. We posted a mix of theirs a few weeks ago, but here are a few fresh edits done by the boys. The Ministry tune was easy. Don’t hear much of a change though…
there’s not much of a change. that’s why they had to not credit the original – to keep the “mystique” without having to have talent.

well in my opinion the ministry edit is simple yes,
they called it ‘just like you’ which is enough of a credit to ministry in my eyes.
not that i would play the ministry edit in a club – but they made it DJ friendly and got rid of the shit vocals, also it seems heaps of producers these days only list a half title to elude to the original – look at ‘black cock’ or rub-n-tug. who barely do anything to an edit and just change the pitch.
the OFF edit is solid gold!
