WAVES AT NIGHT

ZE

ZE Records, back in the late 70’s and early 80’s, released some of the best and most iconic No Wave and Mutant Disco tracks of the time. Not just from New York (such as the founders Partner, Lizzy Mercier Descloux) where the label was based, but all over. It pretty much died in the late 80’s but since 2002 ZE has been up and running re-releasing all their old shit. These tracks come off the ‘Zevolution: Ze Records Re-Edited’ comp, which has some big names (Greg Wilson, Todd Terje, Idjut Boys, Rub N Tug, etc) editing old tracks.

MP3: Kid Creole & The Coconuts – Annie, I’m Not Your Daddy (Soul Mekanik Bounty Girls Edit)
MP3: Gichy Dan’s Beachwood No 9 – On A Day Like Today (Todd Terje Friendly Children Edit)
