Fockewulf 190 (Italian, but named after a German WWII fighter plane) produced some complete cult classic New Wave/Italo Disco cuts back in ’84 (seemingly) from nowhere, then totally dropped off the map til recently.
Both ‘Body Heat’ and ‘Gitano’ were both under appreciated hits in Germany, but brought the Italian Discomagic Records to a greater light in the rest of Europe.
