Morton (Jo Casters), Sherman (Herman Gillis) and Belluci (Roland Beelen) have released under so many different aliases I’m not even going to list them here. Since basically pushing the first New Beat records back in ’87, the trio under various guises have been quite prolific.
Two of my favourite tracks of theirs (which were actually featured on the P.C.P. Shebeen Mix we posted not long ago) are a dark post-colonial African beat under Opium Monks, and the heavy communist march of ‘The Spirit Of Bulgaria’ as Dance Macabre.
