I was so sure I had posted Mozambique-Disco king, Penny Penny, before on Waves but I mustn’t have gotten around to it.
This is a seriously amazing release ripped and brought to the interweb courtesy of always on game and eclectic music site: Awesome Tapes From Africa. ‘Shaka Bundu’, alongside his other release ‘Yogo Yogo’ are some of the most (not even guiltily) enjoyable and party-worthy “ethnographic” beats around. Every song sounds the same but I’m head over heels.
