OK, I know this post wasn’t that descriptive as I wanted to leave some people guessing on what the heck this track was. At first I bet you wouldn’t have guessed it was Justice ey?
So I’ve done some reading on it in the past week or so and made up my own hypothesis which happened to match the comment made by deanna…:
Justice initially formed for a French concept album.They
were asked by a friend at Poplane Records to contribute a song
to a compilation called Musclorvision: Hits Up ToYou! The
concept? The bands had to pretend they were taking part in the
Eurovision song contest.
New Surkin “Next of Kin” out on Institubes 07/04/2008. Some may say his style has changed but I believe the ‘Surkin’ feel is still there and to be frank, I’m a huge fan. Todd Edwards comes back with another dope remix, giving the self-titled track a more “french-house” feel. I’m also quite glad he is giving more attention to today’s artists (Klaxons and Justice for example) because his work is simply amazing. If you don’t believe me have a look for his remixes of Benjamin Diamond’s “Little Scare” and also Zoot Woman’s “Taken It All”. Look out on Arcade Mode for “Next of Kin”, this release will pop around very soon.
You are probably aware of the new single “DVNO” from Justices’ ‘Cross’ album, right? And you probably have seen the video that was under WavesVision on the blog a week or so ago, right? That’s all I need to say, the rest will follow; short and sweet this time. Golden.

SymbolOne is another really promising act to come out of Europe of late. If you like that 80’s/early 90’s tinged electro sound then this will please your ears. Actually, Love Juice was one of the tracks in the ‘almost was but never happened’ Justice mix below. I’m seriously willing to bet it will only be a few months before we start hearing this shit out in clubs in Melbourne. Especially the track ‘Mean Rocket” (myspace).
