VEGA

I know all your favourite blogs (GvsB , PT and DD) have already covered ex-Ghosthustler Alan Palomo’s new project VEGA but he deserves the Waves at Night treatment. His first master-piece, “All Too Vivid” will be released very shortly on his label Vogue College Records; the 12″ containing four original tracks (including “All Too Vivid”) and some remixes.

Alan has also teamed up with and helped out Miami Horror for a track titled “Make You Mine” on his new EP “Bravado”, providing his vocals. Two tracks from the EP can be heard at MH’s myspace page. Oh, and Alan has also been busy working with Todd Edwards, pretty damn amazing hey!?!

“All Too Vivid” is a beautifully, well-crafted track containing a divine classic synthy-80’s feel that, when wielded with this perfect vocal of Alan’s, it makes the listener just melt and ooze in its goodness. Alan was kind enough to provide me with Kill the Noise’s dope remix aswell. Enjoy.

Who’s next?

New Surkin “Next of Kin” out on Institubes 07/04/2008. Some may say his style has changed but I believe the ‘Surkin’ feel is still there and to be frank, I’m a huge fan. Todd Edwards comes back with another dope remix, giving the self-titled track a more “french-house” feel. I’m also quite glad he is giving more attention to today’s artists (Klaxons and Justice for example) because his work is simply amazing. If you don’t believe me have a look for his remixes of Benjamin Diamond’s “Little Scare” and also Zoot Woman’s “Taken It All”. Look out on Arcade Mode for “Next of Kin”, this release will pop around very soon.
