Cut Copy last night. Amazing amazing amazing. My heart goes out to Dan who had a terrible case of tonsillitis. So glad the show went on and yet he was amazing nevertheless! Get better you brave young soldier.
Oh but people, how rad was The Juan Maclean? The theremin was just so beautiful (I made one for my year 12 systems+design project) (by the way folks, the “Sally - I Know You’re My Love (Juan Maclean Remix)” has been fixed that was in the last post; humble apologies to all). Shattered I missed Shocking Pinks, what were they like?
New Simian Mobile Disco remix album named “Sample and Hold” coming to your neck of the woods very soon. Bundled with tonnes of remixes of each track done by producers/artists such as Simon Baker, Joakim, etc.etc.. from their 2007 album “Attack Decay Sustain Hold”.

One of my favourite heavy-rock/prog-rock bands from the early days have just released a new album. Uriah Heep have known to shift away from their traditional proggy sounds from albums such as “Demons and Wizards” and “The Magician’s Birthday” but their new album just takes off where “Sonic Oragami” was left upon, an astonishing ten years ago. “Wake the Sleeper” is what this new bad boy is called - get it if you are a true Heepster.. the sound is still there somewhere.

Galactik Knights are definitely one to be watched. When I say that I really mean it. You can ignore my advice, whatever, who cares.. but when they are up there on the top ten on Beatport or whatever, don’t say I didn’t warn you. Oh and yeah, if Sedat says:
“Your track “Tonight” is the Bomb, I like that side ok Funk so much!!”
and The Eternals just casually drop this:
“Cool funky house track..cool videoclip..well done..keep up the good work.”
Then all you can do is look no further really. Up on the blog is a stream-only version of “Digital Silver”, out now on Beatport. Buy buy buy!

Minitel Rose, one of our favourite Valerie kids have recently dropped their first album “The French Machine”. It’s creamy, synthy goodness just leaves you feeling mighty fresh. I dig big time.
